#NYFW: Kaelen Fall 2015

This Kaelen Fall 2015 presentation  had one of the best runway set-ups for several reasons. It was an X-shaped catwalk where a photographer could snag a perfect position to shoot from a choice of four different runway ends. While individual models walked, the remaining models stood in a group of coordinating outfits. There was a formal photographers pit where models also stopped for a more static pose. In short, if you didn't shoot a decent photo, even with a phone, you probably weren't even in the room.

I loved the mix of bold stripes, floral and metallic patterns in this collection. It mixed graphic with feminine, posh satin with edgier metallic and soft tweed. It mixed very fashion-forward cuts in some of the drapes or asymmetrical cuts but also had ladylike, retro silhouettes too. Whatever your vibe, this well-edited collection was for you.
