I styled myself with a "Modern Veronica" for a night out with my fashion school pals.  I always loved the mysterious elegance of classic screen star, Veronica Lake.  I started with two squirts of Frizz Ease Nourishing Elixir to smooth out the stray hairs and frizzies.  

I blew dry my hair around the crown in the opposite direction to give it a bit of body (my hair tends to flatten out midway through the day).  Next, I created a part off to the side with my fingers.  

For the soft waves, I used a vented, long barreled round brush and used the blow dryer to dry small sections of hair for a smooth wave with a bit of curl at the end.  You don't have to be perfect, you don't even have to curl your hair all the way around your head.  The pieces of hair that frame your face are the important ones.
